What were the highlights?

AWESOME first day at Flaxmere Primary today, everyone was welcoming, really feel part of the family.
Proud of our team today standing up and doing a whakatau, also introducing ourselves in front of the school left a great impression.  Love you guys, excited working along side you all..woop woop
Our mentor was amazing, took care of us, and is very approachable. Principal was awesome, also approachable and was very clear on that the school has a very high expectations.
I like my little kete full on goodies that the school gave us, felt special:)
Love the children they were friendly, some kids where talking Samoan, and Tongan to me today at first they didn't believe I was a pacifica Islander, I proved them wrong..lol


What were the challenges?

NEVER wear any kind on heels on the first day, my feet were sore, after all the walking around.lol lesson learnt.

I struggled to obtain information because there was too much.

What did I learn today? 

I learnt about KIA Toa today, it is a behavior plan that the school follows and understanding the different areas behind them, like KIA TOA, KIA ORA, And KIA AKO.

I learnt that they ddon't tolerate bad behavior what so ever.

Learnt about own well being, looking after me

Learnt some kids names

Learnt not to ever assume

Overall I loved it today and excited for tomorrow..Glory to my Father:)
