week 3 at SBL

Highlight

11.12.14
Great morning went straight into class before bell rang.
We learnt how to create juggling balls today out of rice and balloons. Almost have every single kids name but 4 to remember.
I taught a PE lesson today, my focus was on getting kids attention, and working on listening skills. I felt I went OK I did get my point across, but I didn't emphasize the listening skills. The kids listen and I felt I had them under control, and we were able to do both games that I had plan to do for the day. Lovely children, full of eenergy.

Working with my partner he is practical and awesome with the children. The kids like him, and I also learn from him.

12.4.14

Highlight

I really showed my skills today with maths. I helped children solve equations on there own and this encouraged me because the results were awesome. Children understanding what I had explain and get it was a victory considering I'm not really good.

Challenge

11.3.14

It was different when a releaver takes over the class, and see children out of routine. I notice the children started to become loud, not paying attention, and trying to do things that there teacher wouldn't normally let them do, begin to do. It was confusing for me because I wasn't sure what to do and if I was to tell them to be quite or not. There was a time no teacher was in class.

12.3.14

I am still unsure what to do in the class, like. I help out, I'm unsure of the focus questions observation template how to fill in the sheet and understandingwhat iIam looking for when iI observe.

What I learnt

11.3.14
